Who I work with
I work primarily with adults — most often women — carrying long, layered histories. Below are some of the threads that often bring people to my practice. You don't have to see yourself in all of them. Often, recognizing one is enough.
When 'what happened' doesn't have one answer — when it's a long, layered story that began in childhood and kept finding new shapes. We work at the pace your nervous system can actually sustain.
Infidelity. Hidden lives. Emotional abandonment by someone you built a life with. The disorientation of not knowing what was real, and the slow work of trusting your own perception again.
When you find yourself naming what really happened — coercion, manipulation, a pattern that worked precisely because it was hard to see. There is no shame in not having recognized it sooner.
Religious, spiritual, communal, or institutional injury. The grief of leaving. The complicated love for what was beautiful. The work of finding yourself outside a framework that once held you.
Loving someone whose suffering reshapes the household. The exhaustion you can't quite admit. The grief that lives alongside the love. You're allowed to need your own care.
Parents who never quite became adults. The lifelong work of un-parenting yourself, of grieving the relationship you didn't get, of building the inner caregiver no one built for you.
Your own childhood. Your child's experience. Loss of a child or pregnancy. The particular weight of harm that touches the youngest among us.
When you knew, on some level, and stayed anyway. The compassion that comes after — for the version of you who was doing the only thing you could see.
The fights that circle back to the same place. The distance that crept in without either of you choosing it. Sometimes love isn't the question — trust or repair is. We look honestly at whether, and how, this relationship can hold both of you.
The identity you built starts to feel like a costume. Grief for roads not taken, alongside real gratitude for the one you're on. The work of asking who you are now, without needing an answer right away.
"If any of this names something you've carried quietly, you are welcome here."
